This marks the first vacuum gauge application available on the Apple platform that covers the medium vacuum range with measurement capabilities in the micron or millitorr range.

Data Logging Feature:

Users can customize data logging frequency with options for once per second, once per minute, or once per hour:

• Per second — Suitable for detailed scientific processes, distillation procedures, or real-time pump performance monitoring.
• Per minute — Appropriate for documenting processes extending over an hour or more.
• Per hour — Ideal for long-term monitoring of activities such as transformer dryouts or extended system processes spanning 12 to 48 hours.

The effective Bluetooth Low Energy communication range is approximately 300 feet line of sight. Signal strength diminishes with obstacles such as walls or curves but can extend farther under optimal conditions.

Examples include:

• A gauge mounted on a dashboard kilometers away can be read with a smartphone 450 feet away.
• A gauge on a manifold inside a room can be monitored from an office located roughly 60 feet away.
• An external gauge monitoring a compressor can be accessed via a smartphone situated in the attic space on the third floor.

Remote Viewing Feature:

This capability allows technicians to monitor real-time gauge readings on their mobile devices while performing other tasks. During lengthy evacuations that take several minutes, personnel can continue working without interruption, thereby reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.

Alarm Feature:

Unlike portable gauges that require physical presence to hear alarms, this app provides audible alerts directly on the smartphone or tablet. The alarm threshold is adjustable between 1 millitorr and 760,000 millitorr. When the vacuum pressure drops below the set point, an alert sounds immediately, notifying the user that the target vacuum level has been reached.
